4-into-1 Exhaust

We made equal length headers and a custom stainless exhaust system for this 1969 Camaro with an 855 cubic inch TRE Racing Engines motor.  All bends and tubes are from 304 stainless tubing in 16 gauge thickness and utilized V-band clamps for the joints.  The header main tubes are 2.25" and then flow into custom made merged collectors with a reverse cone taper to 4" exit.  Custom designed then CNC machined O2 sensor bungs and exhaust hanger brackets were used along with turbo baffle inserts to keep the midrange torque of the engine.  The tubes were brushed prior to welding to give a homogeneous finish and the weld areas were left with the heat effected zone finish.  The 3/8" thick stainless flanges were designed in Solidworks then CNC machined as this is a custom engine and needed custom flanges.
